Sword-like, olive-green leaves, with a vibrant canary yellow center stripe. In cool weather leaf edges have a pink tinge and the yellow stripe has a rosy hue. Fragrant, snow white flower spikes bloom in midsummer.
Chartreuse flower spikes in spring before leaves appear. Green, fuzzy leaves appear after flowers and then a spectacular display of yellow-orange-red in the fall. Prefers acidic, well-drained soil. Slow growth rate.
