Spiraea japonica var. alpina

Clusters of deliciously scented, bubblegum pink flowers begin to bloom in early summer filling the garden with a sweet fragrance until fall.

Finely cut bright green leaves on weeping branches. Golden yellow fall color.

U of M introduction. Red twigs and white flowers, followed by white berries in fall. Does well in poorly drained & moist soils. Reddish-purple fall color. Tight form.

Low horizontal spreader with tiny pink flowers, bright red fruit. Needs protected site. Cover in winter. Slow growth rate.

Proven Winner. Neat, compact branching with fine, deeply cut, dark crimson-red leaves. Pinkish white, button like flowers appear in mid-summer. Not fussy about soil conditions.

Very showy golden flowers all summer. Dark green leaves, coarse texture. Compact, mound form.
