Panicum virgatum 'North Wind'

Hardy and compact. Great leaf color. Upright pyramidal form.

U of M introduction. Bright cherry-red twig color in winter. Summer twig color is yellowish green. Does well in moist soils.

One of the smallest varieties of burning bush. Stunning showy fall color of florescent red to pink, interesting corky wings on the branches, very adaptable and versatile. Ideal for all those tight spots in the garden.

Proven Winner. The leaves are a thick dark green with an irregular yellow center. This bright combo is a great addition to the shrub border or as an accent plant.
