A great dogwood for wildlife. The very showy white flowers in May turn into an array of white, purple and blue fruit in June/July. They are a favorite to birds. The bark is also attractive with its maroon color. You can use this shrub in difficult planting sites near rivers or wet areas.
Chartreuse flower spikes in spring before leaves appear. Green, fuzzy leaves appear after flowers and then a spectacular display of yellow-orange-red in the fall. Prefers acidic, well-drained soil. Slow growth rate.
