Fully double, pink blossoms abound in early summer. The central petals have a tendency to curl inward, giving the flowers a sphere-like shape. Many side buds are produced, extending the bloom time.
The deep green foliage of this dense shrub is tinged pink as it emerges in the spring. Clusters of deep carmine-pink flowers cover the plant in mid-summer through the fall.
Fragrant purple-violet flowers, blooming later than most lilacs. Unusual dwarf variety, compact. Dark green crinkled leaves. Well drained soil. Best of all, it's tough.
