Cherry, Purpleleaf Sand

Purpleleaf Sand Cherry is a beautiful shrub with rich purple-red leaves. Once matured, the leaves may reach 2 inches long. The delicate and fragrant flowers are pink, borne after the leaves have developed. Small blackish-purple fruits appear in July and are enjoyed by birds. It is a fast-growing, showy, medium-sized shrub that will make an excellent accent in your landscape. The unique leaf color of the Purpleleaf Sand Cherry makes this a perfect addition to entryways or as a border, screen, or hedge.
